Exciting new tennis workshops and official coach

You will remember back in the spring that we sent out a questionnaire to get a fix on what members valued about the club, and what they thought could be improved.

One finding was that members wanted a better coaching set-up.

Well now we have one.

Many of you will already know Will Richards.

He’s very popular, great fun to work with and… is now our official coach!

Do make him extra welcome in his new role.

He’s taken time with us to develop a wide range of workshops and coaching sessions that I am sure will be of interest to many of you.

For those that don’t know him, here’s a few words of intro from Will:

“Hi, I’m Will Richards, an LTA qualified and accredited coach with over a decade of coaching experience since 2013 and 20+ years of playing tennis, having competed against some of Cornwall’s best players. Based in the Falmouth area, I offer private tuition, group lessons, coaching programmes and workshops, tennis holidays, schools tennis and more. With plenty of experience coaching both children (as young as 3!) all the way up to the more senior age range. I believe tennis is a fantastic sport for everyone and am passionate about inspiring new interest in the game, but also I love digging deep into players game/shots and unlocking their potential.

With my friendly, adaptable, and committed coaching style, I aim to elevate every player’s game.
